Sunyang Soju

선양소주 · Daejeon, Chungcheong

The Chungcheong region's iconic soju house. In 2023 Sunyang launched Korea's lightest soju — 14.9%, zero sugar, the lowest calories in the country — and followed it with Korea's first oak-aged soju, which sold half a million bottles in its first three days.

Baesangmyun Brewery

배상면주가 · Korea

One of Korea's most beloved traditional-liquor houses, reimagining rice wine for a new generation. The playful Simsool sparkling line meets Bokbunja-eum — a black raspberry wine from Gochang's sea-breeze berries, fermented with no added flavours or colours and once served as a presidential toast wine.
