K-Cruise —
a rave that leaves the dock.

On August 8 we are putting 280 people on a boat, pointing it at the Toronto skyline and letting golden hour do the rest. ECLIPSE K-Cruise is our first sunset cruise rave — four hours on Lake Ontario, then an after party that runs until nearly 3 a.m. Here's the whole night, in order.

The boat

The Yankee Lady III is a 113-foot yacht that was built in Toronto Harbour and has been cruising these waters since 1997 — three decks, enclosed space below, open air above, and a licensed capacity of exactly 280. That number is the whole guest list. Boarding is at 259 Queens Quay West, behind the police marine unit, from 6:00 p.m.

One thing we will keep repeating until the day itself: the boat leaves at 6:30 and it does not wait. There is no late entry on the water. Come at six, get a drink, pick your rail.

The sound

The cruise is built as one long arc rather than a set of separate sets. It opens acoustic while the sun is still up, moves through afro as the skyline starts to glow, and lands on techno once the city is lit and the water has gone black. Same crowd, same room, four hours to get there.

Then: Area 82, until closing

We dock at eleven, and the night moves to Area 82 on Dundas West. Closing the room is SEORIN (@seorin.an), a Korean techno and house producer flying in as part of a North American run that also stops in Vancouver, Calgary and New York, with supporting DJs either side. Doors are at 10 p.m., music until 2:45 a.m.

If you have a cruise ticket, the after party is already yours — your wristband is the door. Keep it on. A limited number of standalone tickets exist for people who only want the club half of the night, but most of that room is already spoken for by cruise guests.

ECLIPSE is the banner we're running this one under: EDIS Agency with Toronto Cupid and ESCape, in partnership with LEKA and our own *82 party. It's the biggest thing we've put together — the *82 party crowd, a Seoul headliner and a venue that happens to be a boat.

Before you board

• 19+. Valid government photo ID at boarding, no exceptions.
• Dress code: white and blue. ⚪️🔵 It photographs beautifully against an orange sky, which is the point.
• Arrive by 6:00. Thirty minutes early, minimum.
• Bar on board, card and cash. Finger food is included. No outside alcohol — there's a security check at the gangway.
• Rain or shine. The lower decks are enclosed.
• No refunds. Once the boat is full, it's full.
